A general purpose amplifier for laboratory or field use. Easy to use with jumper-configurable settings including four pre-programmed gain settings.

The nominal output range for this device is ±10 V for full scale. Available boxed (as shown) or as a PCB for OEM applications. Please inquire about various options including different power-supply requirements.

Configurable settings

  • Input coupling (AC/DC)
  • Single ended / differential
  • Optional passive filter

The GPIA has screw-terminal inputs and outputs making it ideal for the engineering environment or research labs. The GPIA is an economical alternative to high-cost instrumentation amplifiers yet it provides all the functionality necessary for basic engineering work. Many configuration options are possible including gain, input/output filters, coupling and input resistors. The unit was designed for amplifying Hall-sensor signals but can be used for many other purposes.

A dual 12 Volt power supply is required for operation; this can be supplied separately or by the user. Power entry is through a 5-pin 180-degree DIN socket.
